What are people running for Bolt head Protectors? My ute came with Tapered Steel Washer type protectors for my M10 bolts holding the bash plates in place.

Overtime I've lost a couple, anyone know of a shop in Oz that sells them? Can't find them for the life of me. Tempted to get a bit of round bar and mill them?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Only found these pictures below not keen on spending nearly $20 a washer that's criminal.

Worst comes to worse I'll mill them out of some round bar.

Cheers

To be honest, this is the 1st time I’ve seen them for bolts on a bash plate..
Except for extreme 4wding, I’m not sure why who would need them ?

Button head cap screws have a very similar profile to those you have attached.

What are you trying to protect against?
Long term wear and tear, just inspect during service then replace as required.

A decent hit will cause more damage than just bolt heads, a tapered washer wont help much.

Decent bash plates have recessed bolt holes.

Its grease nipples on trailer suspension that keep disappearing on me.

I looked at about 6 different well known manufacturers...none had recessed bolt holes. Not ARB, Bushskins, OCAM, Offroad Custom, TJM or Boos.
