Change your tyre pressures when you get to the beach and I think you'll be fine. I've taken stock 4wd's on the beach before.

Bring a long handled shovel to dig it out if you get stuck. Maxtrax or similar make recoveries easier but if you dig enough and let your tyres down enough you should get out of most things.

Make sure you have some way to pump them back up again when you leave the beach - either beachside compressor, servo or your own pump.

Tyre pressures, try 18 for soft sand, you can go lower. Don’t drive fast or your tyres will overheat. Don’t turn hard or your tyres may come off the rims or you may roll. Don’t copy the fools on YouTube. No need to change anything.

High ground clearance and lower tyre pressure will always help with sand or beach driving. Of course, lower tyre pressures will reduce your ground clearance, so there needs to be enough ground clearance to start with. This is why many 4WD owners choose to have a suspension upgrade including a “lift”.

Of course, there are those who do not have a suspension lift and still manage OK in the sand. It comes down to how soft the sand is, and whether there are any wheel ruts.
