Just wondering if anyone can tell me if camping is permitted at this location. Wikicamps and other camping apps says you can but a google search says mostly nothing about overnights, only day visits. Arial photos shows a large clearing but some google photos show some bollards whilst others show campsites.
Thanks

Thanks Peter,
It appears wikicamps is wrong. Rang the info centre on the number you gave me and was informed its definitely day visits only.

Did you amend the site classification? It's up to all users to keep the database accurate.

Hi Kocon,

Another case where the WikiCamps App has had incorrect information uploaded to it by an albeit well meaning person. Whilst the WikiCamps App is a useful tool, I also use it, you need to be aware that it is not always accurate.

"Another case where the WikiCamps App has had incorrect information uploaded to it by an albeit well meaning person."

Or is it a case of info becoming out of date after it was posted? If you saw it as being incorrect and know it was incorrect, did you make an attempt to change it? After all, it is up to the users to attempt to keep it correct.

PeterD,

In this case, I am not the one who found the incorrect information, so no I did not update the site with the correct information. However, when I have personally found information to be incorrect in the WikiCamps app, then yes, I have updated the site with the correct information.
