The big golfball sized seed capsules are the striking feature of this Hakea. The leaves of this medium sized shrub are simple, and the white or cream flowers unremarkable. But the big grey seed pods really stand out. This subspecies has a seed capsule with a cracked pattern covering the surface.&lt;br /&gt;
