Dioecious spreading shrub to 1 m. Leaves imparipinnate, 0.9–2.6 cm long excluding petiole, rarely to 4.5 cm; lateral leaflets 2–14, obtriangular, obovate, rarely oblanceolate, entire, attenuate to broadly cuneate at base, 3–8 mm long, 2–7 mm wide, glabrous or sometimes with sparse hairs on midrib below; apex 3–7-toothed, terminal leaflet elliptic or obovate, entire or rarely toothed or divided, smaller than laterals; petiole 1–4 mm long. Flowers solitary or in 3–5-flowered terminal cymes; pedicels 1.5–4 mm long. Sepals 4, lanceolate to ovate, 1.8–2.8 mm long, persistent. Stamens 8. Ovary glabrous. Capsule 4-lobed, oblong in lateral view, 4.5–7 mm long, 4.5–6 mm wide, with dense glandular hairs; appendages absent; dehiscence septifragal. Fig. 32D.

Occurs in southern S.A. on Eyre, Yorke and Fleurieu Peninsulas and on Kangaroo Is. A shrub of mallee scrub on limestone or calcareous soils overlying limestone.&lt;br /&gt;

Forget flowers, its the colourful seed pods that look a bit like hops used to flavour beer that make these plants distinctive. Much branched, dense low shrub to 1m high. Leaves with up to 3 pairs of round leaflets, sticky. Separate inconspicuous male and female flowers. Seeds enclosed in a colourful  3 or 4-winged capsule. Growing in stony area.&lt;br /&gt;

Leaves linear, lanceolate to narrow-elliptic or rarely oblanceolate, with length:breadth ratio of 5–15:1, rarely to 30:1. Leaves linear to narrow-oblong, rarely oblanceolate, not narrowly tapered at apex, sessile or petiole 1–10 mm long. Leaves 1–6 mm wide, with length:breadth ratio of &gt;7.5:1, linear to narrow-oblong, rarely oblanceolate, sessile. Erect shrub to 4 m high. Leaves 3–9.5 cm long, 1–6 mm wide, apex acute to obtuse, margins irregularly sinuate or toothed.
