Comment: 2012 Mount Moffatt Section Carnarvon National Park

Hello Navigator 1. Very interesting. I look forward to a reread when your work is complele.

Having been there so recently I assume you will not be joining the Sir Kev group at Easter. We plan to tow our 17 ft off road Coromal there, weather permitting. Do you see any problems with that? Only to the camp site, of course.
Cheers,
Kevin

Hi Kevin, Our return at Easter is looking very doubtful - we will have to catch up with you another day.
Cannot see any problem with the creek crossings except after recent heavy rain.
Crystal Creek would then be your major problem - apparently it becomes impassable at such times.
At other times the creeks should be relatively dry - good firm crossings.
You can always ring the Ranger- we found him most helpful. Ken B is pulling his Bushtracker in.
It is a great NP and you will definitely enjoy it.
