What is ExplorOz Tracker?
ExplorOz Tracker automatically records your journey as you travel and syncs it to your ExplorOz account so you can view, replay, and share your trip online.
It creates a clear timeline of your route, daily stops, and travel stats — turning your travels into a visual record you can revisit anytime.
Tracker is available through both the ExplorOz Tracker app and the
ExplorOz Traveller app.
Does Tracker work offline?
Yes. When you’re out of mobile coverage, Tracker continues recording your journey on your device.
Once your device reconnects to the internet, your trip data is synced automatically and your online map updates to show the full journey.
Why use ExplorOz Tracker?
Most travellers use Tracker as a travel diary and trip log.
It allows you to:
- See exactly where you travelled each day
- Review distances, time travelled, and movement patterns
- Automatically mark daily stops along your route
- Replay your journey on a map after the trip
- Share your travels with others — or keep them private
- Tracker removes the need to manually log trips or remember details later.
What information is recorded?
Tracker records location points from your device’s GPS to create a route line on a map showing where you’ve travelled.
If your trip spans multiple days, a stop marker is automatically created at each date change, building a clear day-by-day journey timeline.
Only the device name you choose and your ExplorOz screen name are displayed.
Who can see my trip?
You control the visibility of your tracking at all times.
Private — only people with your secure link and password can view your trip
Public — anyone with the link can view the map
Devices set to Private are never shown publicly. You choose who, if anyone, sees your journey.
Can I save or archive my trips?
Yes. You can save and archive completed trips for long-term reference.
Archived trips remain available in your account so you can revisit or share them later. Full details are provided in the User Manual available within the app and on this page.
How many devices can I use?
You can track up to five devices under a single ExplorOz account.
Each device has its own name and individual journey map.
Data privacy
ExplorOz is an Australian-owned company.
We do not sell, share, or distribute tracking data collected through our
services.
Your travel data remains yours.
