Hello folks, love to know how the road from Booligal to Hillston via Whealbah is.
I presume the unsealed section is still the same.
I will be towing a van on my trip Nth.
Thank you for your thoughts.

I can't find Whealbah, but I would be taking the direct road. From what I remember, it was a good gravel topped road when I travelled it some time more than 25 years ago. Seeing it is a well travelled main road, I don't think they would have ignored its maintenance. Back then, I think we travelled at 70–80 km/h. Just check the council websites and see if there is anything untoward the road just before you travel it. You should be OK if you take your time.

Last time we went that way it was a decent dirt road. We did it in a ute only but sat on 80 most of the way.
