May have asked this before, on here, but does anybody have any of the above CB radios from the past and are willing to part with them, either for a price or just freight costs..

Interested if you have a working one, with handset, and maybe an aerial, or mount and lead, as I have the aerial part?

Now is a bad time to be looking for one of those.
The sunspot cycle is nearing its peak and the last couple of cycles have been really disappointing but this one is shaping up to be the best one since the turn of the century so that old gear is now worth a silly amount working or not.
Better off getting a new anytone 6666.

Well I am not willing to pay a silly amount, just a reasonable amount, otherwise I will keep on looking.

Hello Richard.
What are you wanting/ hoping to do with a sideband unit. I have two units, one Uniden and another, can't remember the name. I have often thought of using one again with my bottom loaded long base station antennae.

Get it up and running again while it's worth doing.
I doubt I will be capable of getting an antenna up this time next cycle.
Playing more with portable wire antennas now shying
my home QTH is in a dead spot.

I am hoping to hook up with some old radio mates in the US using skip, They have asked a few of us, to set up a club again. I have a mobile aerial*, but not the mount or the lead, so will be looking for that as
well. Are you willing to part with one of the radio's plus handset if that's included? * As I live on a high
hill I have a good location to get good signal, also, I have access to
Ben Lomond in the
New England, at 5,300 ft that is a good location also. If your interested RMD, you can join in on the fun as
well.

My mobile aerial, I have is a coiled adjustable 6ft one, that I can't remember is either a 1/4 wave, or 5/8 wave, I know a radio set of the type I am after would be better with a bigger/longer aerial, but I want this set to be mobile as
well.
