has anybody travelled on the tracks from either talbingo or batlow and then along the western side of blowering dam and then across the dam wall to tumut? any hints/details on this would be appreciated, thanks in advance

Best to contact Tumut visitor centre at 5 Adelong Road, Tumut (02) 6947 7025. They will have info about all those tracks in the pine forests on the western side of Blowering Reservoir. You may be able drive across the crest of Jounama Dam to go from Batlow across to the Snowy Mtns Hwy if said tracks are open. Many were closed after the 2019/20 fires, then there was flood damage.

thanks warrie for your reply,why i want to try and go west side is to watch dave warby and his boat spirit of australia have another run,he is up to 441ks/hour at the moment,have watched it from the eastside about 3 weeks back,really good,i think the next run will be 19/20 october bye now

As said above, I've driven across Jounama Dam a few years ago, but Blowering is a no go. I was there last week.
Edit, I forgot to add that the Blowering access road at the hydro station was a locked gate.
