Hi. Does anyone have the lat long for Jinawanura
cave aka Trotman's
cave (in the
Trotman Hills nth of
Rudall River NP). Apparently it is accessed from the
Christmas Pool park /
camp area.
There is a thread from "Norm M" (ThreadID: 70482) where he says he knows where it is but doesn't give exact location!

It's a few years ago but when I visited what I was told was Trotman's
cave and the paintings it was walking distance from
Christmas Pool where we camped.
This location seems to be much much further away.
Somebody who had been there before said there had been a track that took you closer to the breakaway and a better camping spot but it was badly washed away and we had to walk. Maybe half an hour?
I don't have a picture but the image in the place description looks familiar.
Christmas Pool itself was not much of a camping place. Flat and open with no shelter and I recall the flies were deadly. The wind certainly didn't blow them away!
Cheers

It's now closed to general public. See CSR FB group or register of
heritage sites.
