Hi, just wondering if anyone has had experience with one of these?

looking to use it in conjunction with our van to escape insects and to give us a bit more shade.

Thanks

We bought a similar one for a trip up into the tropics and while it did the job as far as keeping the midges and mozzies out the fine midge mesh also stopped any breeze less than a stiff wind and it also became our own private sauna especially if out in the sun.

Seems expensive compared to the Coleman or the OZtrail. I have had an OZtrail large screen dome for many years and have found it fantastic. I noticed the one in your link has no floor and I would suggest get something with a floor and with the No-see-um mesh, that way nothing gets in. As said in the previous post they can stop a breeze but I just simply put a fan inside. Probably won't get a lot of shade as they are so open but great for still sitting or sleeping "outside" without any midges, mossies.
