The trip this morning went
well even getting through
Hobart wasn't a problem. The road was freeway style for part of the way and narrow country road at other times. The town of
Huonville is a real mixture of old and new and the shopping centre is spread along the Highway for some distance.
The caravan park is a bit different in that it is alongside a functioning apple orchard with Geese, ducks and Chooks wandering around. The facilities are near new with unisex showers and
toilets, each separate once you get inside. A very
large camp kitchen with everything you could possibly want. The only issue is that the building is raised up about a metre, with steps leading to it. The sites are all grassed, very large and there is a very large number of powered sites and almost unlimited unpowered areas.

We went on a drive to look at the Apple Museum and café very
well presented with a small amount of memorabilia and a great café. The next stop was to the
tourist information office to book the Tahune Airwalk for tomorrow and the eco cruise on the Huon Waters for Thursday.
