Sorry this is possibly later than you would like. Have been travelling offline for a few weeks. Went from Tib. to Bourke about 4 weeks ago. At THAT time, first 100 or so kms. from Tib. going east not too bad. Next 40-50 patchy but last 80 kms. to Wanaaring overall quite good. Wasn't towing anything so would have made some difference. Next 15 -20 kms. from Wanaaring to Bourke ok conditions as they are doing work on tarring it. After that, tar all the way to Bourke. Not sure how much rain there has been recently which can change conditions overnight. A good idea to ring both Wanaaring store and Tib. General Store for updates. Safe travels to you.

I did it on 21st and 22nd August towing a TVAN. Travelled from Broken Hill to Tibooburra and on to Wee Waa.
My experience mirrored the report above from Stephen H15 above.
I camped at Mt Wood Campground on 21st near the old Mt Wood Station. Nice campsite, plenty of mosquitos at sunset.
No fires permitted.
Only two other campers, another TVAN and a caravan.
Geoff,

Grey hair is hereditary, you get it from children. Baldness is caused by watching the Wallabies.
