Box Ambient - not connecting?

I used the cables that were supplied.
I did try others.
No joy.

Have you seen the size of the instructions print. :-/

Think i followed instructions. Could not see the blue light at back of unit.

I have asked carplay. Waiting for reply.

Now that's the info I am after.

I have a couple of power options. I'll view blog.

PS pretty sure, from memory, you leave the Tbox on the Carplay connection as it comes out of the box.

So battery pack to usb A will work ?
How much does it draw?

I use the adjacent cigarette lighter socket with a double USB outlet. One to charge my phone via a quadlock mount (USB c) and the USB A to charge to Tbox. I I remember I will take a pic and upload

Nothing on screen.

I plug the device power then device to car then turn on.get to the ok screen and that's it ?

Unable to select Android Auto.

Have trid pin in back of device to change but can't see colour?

Not enough power - I have the carlink one here at work which I used originally, but liked the other one because it had one less connection and is tidier. I can send you the carlink one for not much plus postage if you want - say $20 total overnight, if you want to try it.

I had same trouble as you, it worked perfectly in my wife's car (pioneer after market head unit), contacted carlink and they said change to android - didn't work, so the they sold me the adapter which worked perfectly. I have 2023 MUX - almost certain (all care, no responsibility) that this will fix it

I have a couple of similar cig adaptors.

I was connecting usb c on cg lighter end to usb A on carlink end!

Looks like it goes from cig lighter to usb a port where would normally plug phone in then out to the carlink device usb c port.

Prb why not working.

Assuming you are sending similar adaptor?

None of this is mentioned in manual and have received no like info from carlink?
