ExplorOz - David & Michelle
For those who’ve been eagerly awaiting the update – we’re thrilled to announce that the first "draft" of
EOTopo 2025 is now available for free viewing on the ExplorOz website! You can
check it out here:
EOTopo 2025 free online map viewer
Now you can explore it for yourself! We’re currently finalizing the official release documentation, which will be available next week and will address all your questions. As we're focused on completing the final release, we ask that you please hold off on individual inquiries about "what's changed" until we’ve had a chance to release all the details.
Please note, the online map viewer shows only the base map data. When viewed within the Traveller app, you’ll have access to additional layers, such as towns, camps, and points of interest.
Our goal is to have
EOTopo 2025 available for purchase next week. We’ll be sending detailed update instructions to all existing owners via email. Stay tuned for the full release, which is just around the corner!
Thanks,
Michelle

Online version looks good. Not sure if the areas in QLD around water are showing roads in Blue is an undocumented feature or an upgrade ??

Your screen shot shows the proliferation of water canals in that area and if you compare to your 2024 mapset it displays the same. Not new.
TIP: In the Traveller app, you can enable the "Dynamic Legend" (open map layers - scroll to bottom of list and tap to select to activate) so that when you tap a feature on the map it will explain what is being shown - so if you
test that out, and tap on one of those blue you've identified, the app says "watercover canal areas".
