After a hearty breakfast we farewelled the bike riders and thanked our hosts for the evening Skip Gail and
young Mitchell. We headed down to Byron Bay for fuel and a look around the
lighthouse before heading south through Lennox Head and
Ballina .After turning off at
Grafton we headed towards
Ebor and finally camped at a pub in Armidale

Headed westward through
Tamworth, Gunnedah arriving at Narrabri late afternoon and staying at the Van park next door to the RSL .Great feed at the RSL and the
VIsitor Information was very handy
Tuesday16/09/14
Bourke was the days destinatrion and the
campsite was the van park in town .Restocked food bread and beers and had a quick tour of the
visitor information centre to work out Thursdays itinerary.
Wed 17/09/14
This morning we visited the historical display at the info centre then were enthralled at the Outback Show. A pioneering display showcasing camels, horses, Bullocks and working dogs with humour, yarn telling and poetry.
Well worth a look if passing through .

After the show we hit the tracks heading down the
Darling River east side crossing at
Louth after a Tooheys Old at the Pub then heading down the west side of the ditch to a
farm stay at
Kallara Station .$5 each for a
camp ,hot showers washing machine and a
great camp kitchen with a huge fireplace.
