Embarking on a business venture is always a thrilling expedition, especially when it involves something you're deeply passionate about. In our case, it was about transforming our enthusiasm for travel into an impactful enterprise - the ExplorOz business.

One of our biggest achievements was the construction of the
EOTOPO, a Raster map set that redefined exploration. The
EOTOPO, based on the Geo Science topographic maps, was a product of our licensing agreement with Geo Science. It not only strengthened our business but also revolutionized the way travelers navigated their journeys.
While building our business was not without its hurdles, we found that every bump in the road taught us invaluable lessons. We encountered challenges in the development of our Traveller app, a tool designed to shape the explorer’s travel journey. The brainstorming sessions, the process of transforming ideas into reality, and the market performance of the app - each of these aspects presented unique learning opportunities.
