Today for me started with a 5.4km run and hot shower from the car (twine). We left at 8:30am and finished the Overland Telegraph Line it was ok going though there were several wet muddy sections. It was a great drive and will make a great treknote when we return.

We hit Balladonia Roadhouse (diesel 1.99) at 10:45 and departed at 11 along the tar. The going was good with a tail wind and maintaining the speed limit was easy.

We had a wee stop at Caiguna (diesel 2.02). I decided to put $100 in here as we used the loos and bins. This was the first fuel since Perth and we did not need it really as we had only just switched off the rear 170litre tank.

Just outside Caiguna the time changes the a central outback time with a forward adjustment of 45mins. Nothing really exciting on the drive, fuel at Mundrabilla (diesel 1.94, ulp 1.96 & lpg 1.16). I decided to fill up here as it is usually the cheapest so $350 was exhausted into the tanks.

We wanted to be east of Eucla/border village for a camp. We made it to Eucla (diesel 1.96, ulp 1.94, lpg 1.26) at around 5 and proceeded quickly to border village and just past this we found a track to the south. This led down to the sand, coast and ocean. We decided on of the spots we passed on the way in was the best and headed back and made camp just as the light was gone.

Now sitting around the fire and getting ready to eat. Tomorrow sees us joining the group at Maralinga for the start of the mystery tour.

Till later and maybe a week or more as I am sure we will be out of service. I will keep emailing the updates anyway and you can track us via EOTrackMe.
