Dear ExplorOz Reader,
Recent site improvements and new features have brought about a further
surge in site traffic on ExplorOz.com with our forecasted March figures
expected to come in at 600,000 sessions for the month - almost doubling
our monthly site traffic. We've got a lot of new things still to come
this year to tantalise you, and will continue to use our e-Newsletter to
officially launch these so watch this space!

New 'Places' Database
Places
is the new ExplorOz central storehouse of all physical locations
that have a known waypoint. |
With over
74,000 Places in this database assigned as one (or more) of 39
Point of Interest categories, there is a lot of useful content
here! Unlike other Place Name databases available on the net,
ExplorOz "Places"
is fully geo-referenced. Additionally, within each Trek
Note, any waypoint that is listed will cross-link to the Places
database which will show additional information for that location
including up to 5 photos, and a detailed text description. For an
example of how this works, see the Canning Stock Route waypoint
list . Places
will also become an interactive site area enabling you to enter text and
upload photos of Places you have been. Go to Places Also see Related

News from Jackie @ The Shop
Being part of the ExplorOz Team now for 8 months I thought I should introduce
myself and make mention that I am now more involved with our Adventure Shop
since taking over Juliana's role. Firstly, I would like you to know that our
customers are important to us and your feedback and help is always appreciated.
In particular if there is a product you are looking for and we don't appear to
have it on the site please let me know and I will try to locate it for you.
Can't make any promises but I will certainly try!!! |
Over the next few weeks I
have been given the opportunity to offer some discounts on selected shop
items including maps, books and CD's. Please note this offer is only for
a limited time with limited stock. So it is on a "first to
buy" basis. Products will vary so keep looking! To find out
what's on special just click on the button. Here's a useful tip - if you want
to beat the rush on Latest Releases announced in newsletters, you can
often buy BEFORE the newsletter feature - just click on the button. Updates
are being made on a regular basis so you may find it worth taking a
regular look here.
Please feel welcome to email me for any product assistance and don't
forget I can take your order over the phone if you prefer. Happy
Shopping!!!! Jackie Stephens |
