New Trek Note Eagle Highway
The
Eagle Highway is
a very isolated track of just 196km in the
Gibson Desert in WA that was constructed by an oil
exploration company in the early 1980s.
This track can be travelled without permits and is a
popular shortcut through the desert country en-route to the northern
part of the Canning Stock Route, leaving the Gunbarrel Highway and
meeting the Talawanna Track.
