Change of Office OperationsThe ExplorOz website has always operated on a platform of bleeding edge technology. We provide and utilise tools when travelling in remote areas that enable content to reach our server and add content to the site, all while remaining open for business 24/7. We are pleased to advise that we expect there will be no change in operations when Adele, the ExplorOz Customer Service & Sales Manager, moves to the Pilbara (due to a change of personal circumstances) as of Monday 16/9. Adele is the main point of contact for our business and, with the use of the Cloud and VOIP, the physical move will only have a limited impact upon her role. However, due to the relocation, Adele will not be in the same office as David and Michelle, so there are a few changes to ensure that this transition is as smooth as possible, please note:
- In overhauling our operations, and reflecting on
the communication requirements of our customers, it was found that email has
proven the more effective customer support tool than phone calls, so whilst we
will continue to offer a phone number as an option to reach us, email response
will take a higher priority.
- Our new office number is (08) 9467 4025. When calling, please plan to leave a message that contains sufficient information to allow us to expedite the most relevant response when we return your call.

For any traveller that confidently uses mapping software when they take a
trip, you’ll find making your holiday into a Trek Note quite straight
forward. The process is:
During Trip- Use ExplorOz Mobile Places Updates to record POIs (using a camera with inbuilt GPS a DSLR or smartphone) * this isn’t mandatory but it certainly is the easiest/time saver
- Run a system in your vehicle to record your track file whilst driving (eg. tablet/laptop running OziExplorer or EOTrackMe)
Post Trip- Upload your track file to ExplorOz User Treks
- Verify/Edit Places sent by mobile
- Request system access to the ExplorOz “Trek Note Manager
- Use MyPlans to export data ready for importing to Trek Note Manager system
- Text entry into blank fields in Trek Note Manager - (Trek Name, Author Name, Description, Time to Go, Permits, History, Environment). Once your Trek Note has been completed, Michelle will check it and once approved, we will send you the Promo Code
