If you’re a history buff you’re going to go nuts crossing the Oodnadatta Track. The track follows the original Ghan line from Marla to Oodnadatta and then on to Marree. There's stacks of ruins, mound springs, excellent conservation park information & railway sidings/rubble.

 | National Gathering Raffle Winners
Congratulations to Member - peter & dawn m (QLD) who are in attendance at the National Gathering, and were drawn as the winners of this year's raffle prize: a one of a kind, hand-painted double-handed cross-cut bush saw, depicting images of the "Rustic Outback" (as submitted by our 2015 Photo Comp Winner).
We would like to thank everyone that purchased tickets, as well as Jan's Country Art for all of the work that went into creating this artwork, and Member - Heather MG (NSW) for the wonderful photos that were adapted for this painting. All proceeds from this raffle will be donated to the Isolated Children's Parents' Association (Alice Springs Branch) - the final amount raised will be published in a future edition of the newsletter. |
