Cross-References A
new feature has been implemented on the site to alert you to information
you are looking for that is already on the site. Now,
when you type a new post into the Forum, the words you use will initiate
a keyword search across the site and automatically provide links at the
bottom of the initial post to cross-referenced items found in our
Articles in Topic Search, the Business Listings of our Advertisers, and
the names of our Trek Notes. These
cross-references are designed to help both you and other readers of your
post to find related information that is already on ExplorOz.

Search Improvements Forum Search
options have just been increased with 2 new features:

You can now
elect to search keywords in just the Topic (ie. the heading of the
original post) and/or you can elect to search just the body text of
the post and all replies and follow-ups. Note - you can elect to
search Topic or Body OR Both. Just tick the appropriate checkboxes.

u can now
search for more than one word by adding a + symbol between words,
eg. Fog+Light will search only for occurrences of "Fog
Light" rather than all occurrences of Fog plus all occurrences
of Light. Using
these new search options will obviously reduce the results lists giving
you a more accurate set of matches.
