Something
really good is now even better!
With over 15,000 Cobb owners in Australia, there will almost certainly
be a lot of interest in the changes that have been made to the now
familiar Cobb cooker. |
Apart from a
slightly larger grill - the grill now fits over the bowl rather than
into it - and a slightly higher lid to increase the oven size, the Cobb
looks pretty much as it always did. Well, that's until you take a closer
look. What hits you
first Is the very obvious quality of the new MKII Cobb. From the mirror
finish of the base to the perfectly formed stainless steel bowl and
satin finished lid, it looks like a Cobb made in heaven. And it should
be a better performer - if that's at all possible - because of a tighter
fitting lid and a much higher standard of engineering all round -
including a redesigned base with no pop rivets. All of this
comes with a $20 price increase but it has to be said that it's well
worth it. The Cobb still has no peer and with the MKII, the gap has
widened. |

seen above).
