We're thrilled to announce a new update for the Traveller app web version! This update, exclusive to our valued Members, enhances your browsing experience with the Traveller app.

WHAT'S NEW?

Improved compatibility with the latest web browsers, including Chrome, Edge, Opera, Firefox, and Safari.
Expanded browser support for a seamless experience.
Technical details available in Thread 146484,on the ExplorOz Forum.

HOW TO GET THE UPDATE

Simply open your browser and access the Traveller Web-App as usual. Upon launching the new version, you'll be guided through the "Getting Started Guide," including user login and content download.

IMPORTANT NOTES

The Web-App is designed for computers, not mobile devices.
Access online map sources with GPS functionality disabled, focusing on planning rather than active travel.
The auto-sync feature ensures seamless data transfer between your mobile device and the ExplorOz server.
Please avoid simultaneous changes on both your mobile device and the web-app to prevent data conflicts.

Embarking on a journey from Perth to Tasmania, we'll traverse SA/NSW/VIC before returning to the mainland in March. Our route unfolds from south to north, covering QLD, the Top End of NT, Kimberley, Central Australia, Flinders Ranges, and southern WA. While we have a loose plan, flexibility is key, embracing the unknowns of travel. With a fully off-grid, off-road setup and extensive knowledge, 2024 promises to be a year of unforgettable adventures.

Select "Places."
Choose "Personal" and browse through your list.

Take a moment to identify entries that could be either deleted or switched to ExplorOz. Don't stress about perfect descriptions or contacts; we'll handle validation and edits as needed. The goal is to share those hidden gems with the community rather than keeping them locked away.

PRO TIP:

Focus on the sites where you've snapped photos, places that hold memories. These are gems waiting to be switched to ExplorOz. If you're unsure about the process, refer to our previous newsletter for step-by-step instructions.
