Pandanus montivola is a common plant in Rainforests near the beach in Far North Queensland, with leaves that are very long and spiny. As the spines are pointing forwards along the leaf, they are not so inclined to catch at you as they would if they would be curved back.
Flowering start in March and ends in September.
