ExplorOz Member - Gavin “The Stig” claimed victory in the High Speed Electric Powered Esky Race in amongst some serious action at the pre-opening event of the Brisbane Tinnie and Tackle National 4x4 and Outdoors Show in Brisbane RNA Showgrounds on Thursday Night.

As representatives of ExplorOz, we were treated to a preview of all the action which will be rolled out from Friday 8th April to Sunday 10th April.

Apart from some amazing new and well known products on display - The Action Arena features a full 4WD test track, 4WDriving displays, Hands on Reversing Challenges, Demolition derby and vehicle clowning stunts.

We also got to ride in the New Toyota FJ Cruiser and the new $45,000 Conquerer Camper (which one lucky visitor will win)

We were lucky enough to be able to drive some serious hardware over the torture track as well as take a spin in some very highly modified Rock Crawlers and competition 4X4 vehicles.
The FJ Cruiser was also a highlight of the evening with its classic style and impeccable manners as it romped through the obstacle course.

This was in sharp contrast to the not so lavish “Cruzin Cool” electric powered (Ride On) Eskies whose top speed on the dirt track left the crowd in awe during the Esky races which have to be seen to be believed

All in all it promises to be a very entertaining weekend.
