Hey everybody,

I'm still here - Social media is here too now so have other avenues for my content these days.

Here's a video I put up on Youtube a couple of weeks ago from Coolgardie to Burra Rock.

Some of the POI's that I have put into EO places are:

Oasis
Quairnie Rock
Durgulyie Rock
Londonderry Siding

I have not put any pictures into the places as my main hard drive corrupted last week and I have lost heaps of data :-(

The places used to link up properly on the forum but don't seem to now for some reason.

Note that the views I may get on Youtube from this EO post are quite minimal - maybe 0.5 percent of them these days and probably much less.

I still explore all the time to be honest - I moved to Coolgardie for this very reason. My intention is to make Coolgardie the tourism capital of the WA goldfields single handedly if I need to.

Youtube Video

The video also cannot be embedded for some reason.

Cheers to all, and happy travels.

Alan

Alan, great video as I have commented elsewhere.

I admire your dedication to researching the history around Coolgardie and showcasing to all what's under our noses, but forgotten.

You have some pretty interesting residents in the cemetery in Coolgardie.
Ernest Giles, Wentworth D'arcy Uhr and Tagh Mohamed. All have a story to tell.

For those that may be interested there is a series on You tube by Bill Peach about the explorers. "The Explorers The Desert Explorers Episode 10" uploaded by Alex covers Warburton, Goss and particularly Giles. Very interesting and informative.

Hi Alan, I edited your post to get the link to youtube correct so that it embedded the way you wanted.
Places only link if there is a photo.
