I run exploreOZ Traveller on 3 devices (phone, tablet and android head unit).
Currently on all three devices ExploreOz indicates it is offline and thus I cannot sync, update maps change to online maps etc.
On my phone I uninstalled the app and then reinstalled it but now cannot complete setup as it is 'offline'.
All three devices have sim cards with active 5G which is working for all other apps.
My phone and tablet can connect to home wireless with no issues in other apps.
I even tried McDonalds wifi with no luck.
Any suggestions on how to get the app working?

unfortunately this app seems to be in process of degradation - we are in a similar situation GSharkey, using multiple devices (all apple thingys) - connectivity issues, map accuracy issues, and now the satellite view is so degraded it's laughable - we invested in a starlink mini and now use that with google earth or maps to get proper aerial pictures and just use exploroz for some occasional checking - it's no longer our main mapping system - there are many alternatives emerging, and arguably superior - the issue is as always the learning effort invested myst now be repeated with new systems - but, how much frustration do you want?

Hi textminer,
Have you logged any of these issues with the help desk? If so, what was their response?

yes, we have engaged with the help desk numerous times over the years and they have been amazingly responsive - actually, on that criterion the performance is superlative. Thanks.

So, what their response to the issue of the Satellite image being degraded?

Hi GSharkey,
I would strongly suggest you log a request with the help desk. That way a full history of your issue can be stored for future reference and assistance with your issues.
Macca.

No issues with
mine across Android phone, tablet or AI box to vehicle head unit. As others have said contact the help desk they will sort it.
In my opinion the app is better every update. It's my one and only navigation app outside cities and towns although Michelle tells me to try in towns navigation as
well by going online and some map options, as yet to try that.

Will add my thumbs up for the maps, program , and support.
No problems at all , and brilliant maps which I have just recently used off line and in a remote area, and all working perfectly.
I would urge anyone who is having trouble to contact the help desk.
Cheers
Jim

I've closing this post as Gary already had an open Help Desk ticket with us which resolved the issue which was related to a password reset etc. Not an app bug, not an issue affecting others.
