This bushy understorey shrub is common in dry forests, particularly in disturbed areas. The narrow leaves are dark green on top and pale below and have a slightly scaly texture, and may cause skin irritation. The small whitish flower heads are crowded into a very slightly convex flower head at the end of branches.
Flowering start in November and ends in February.
Identification
The main flower colour is white. C. longifolia is very similar but the leaves are larger and the flower heads are in almost flat clusters.
