Tony
Hi,
Can someone tell the map format that
EOTopo uses?
I am just checking it out before I commit to purchase.

There may be a deeper question not being answered/asked.. given you can only view the maps in the App itself the actual format might be inconsequential.
If you're planning to try and view the maps in something other than the
ExplorOz Traveller App you should make that requirement known to inform a proper response.

Tony, when researching , exploring the Traveller app I don't think there would be any issues with the map itself.. even the critics think it's pretty good.
But there are those that are not comfortable with the app in other areas , on how it works etc.. there are many tutorials on ExplorerOz YouTube channel to get more of an idea . also it would be beneficial if you have access to Facebook and have a look at the Traveller app Facebook page for past posts .
Personally I don't have any problems using it for what I want it for, I think a lot of problems seem to crop up from people that have not done their research on all of the functions.

Hi all,
Thanks for all the replies. My delayed response was due to my email app being too aggressive with spam.
Yes I was looking to use the maps in another program. The maps with Exploroz are very good with more than enough details for my needs. Actually they seem to be the most up to date.
Exploroz uses vector maps not raster was one stumbling block. I enquired if I could purchase raster maps from prior to 2021, they are no longer available. I also looked at converting vector to raster, but that was one rabbit hole too far. Yes it can be done.
The other features of the program/app are very good, but not for my needs.
So thanks to everyone.
Kindest
Tony Christian
