Hi

When we did it a couple of years ago it was a true bone shaker from Dunmarra all the way through to Top Springs, and greatly improved from there on through to Timber Creek.

Just read a report that the full road is closed all the way from Dunmarra through the VRD from wet weather.

Interestingly we saw those same comments from Stephen in another thread. It obviously gets a hammering from seasonal stock carriers.

We traversed it in August last year and it was quite good the entire section from Top Springs to the highway (~Dunmarra). Get local on-the-ground reports. [Dunmarra RH has changed hands and I wouldn't rely on them as a source of road condition reports - no skin in the game - the TS pub would be a much better bet.]
