Hi ,
We are doing the Sandy Blight
junction Rd in a week , 28/6.
Does anyone have any up to road conditions ?
We are in a 300 series landcruiser towing a Bruder EXP4

Have not driven the
Sandy Blight Junction Road since 2003.
Nice drive.

It is always "Some sand. Some corrugations." just as Peter said.
All those Beadell tracks are "Some sand. Some corrugations." Their condition doesn't change much. Maybe a washout or two after good rain periods but invariably drivable in a decent rig like yours.
I never sought reassurance when driving them. The unforseen was part of the appeal. Go for it!

Not exactly super recent but we went through in June 2024 and it was like Allan said, some sand and corrugations but nothing hard to get through at all. Corrugations are quite bad up to Tjukurla turnoff, then ease up for the rest (except for the straight bit heading to Mt Leisler that's a bit wild!).
One of the best drives you can get in terms of scenery, we did it in 3 nights last time.
Aiming to go back through the week after you, early July this year.
