I’m a new user to ExplorOz & I’m trying to download the base content.
I can’t download all the content for the app. I can get the
Routes ,
Places , Folders & Reference notes, but the download bar stays stuck on 5% for the remaining content.
I’m getting a sych error with the msg to shutdown the app and retry.
I’m using an iPad Air, with lots of available memory.
Any ideas ?
John

Not wishing to interfere and cause more problems than I might solve.. But if this were me, I'd be going back into Data Manager, scrolling down to "Resets" and
Clearing All content.. if that didnt work, I'd blow away the App, reinstall, and reattempt.

I remember having issues downloading in the past when it was taking too long for the download ?
It would soon tell you if you did not have enough space, so that is unlikely to be the problem.
I would be endorsing Duncans suggestion of starting again and making sure you've got a good internet connection ...don't know much about the Apple products.. is that a new-ish tablet ??

Thanks for the feedback and suggestions.
I have a good, reliable internet connection. 4G but good speed & reliable.
Have deleted content & retried download with same result.
iPad is a newish model with at least 90gb of storage available.
Have since logged a support call. Feedback is that this is unusual and is being investigated further as at 23/6.

I haven’t tried deleting the app yet but am considering doing this. I have a full subscription & hv already downloaded the multi gb hi res, low res maps etc.
If I delete the app and reinstall it does anyone know if the linkages to the downloaded map’s will be restored or will I need to reload them ?
Just a consideration as I’m now on the road using mobile data and am not at home with unlimited gb for downloads.
Tks
John
