Today we woke early and headed for the Kungkalanayi Lookout to say goodbye to Purnululu National Park and our time here which has been simply amazing. Kungkalanayi (which means lookout in local Aboriginal language) lookout gives you panoramic 360 degree views of the spinifex covered limestone ridges of the area and the western escarpment of the Bungle Bungles.
