Hi ExplorOz Reader
Traveller Version 10 is here!
Version 10 of the ExplorOz Traveller app is now available on both the App Store and Google Play,
together with the release of EOTopo 2026.
This is a free app update for all existing users and includes refinements
across terminology, data management, additional settings for power users,
and fully revised Help Guides.
On mobile devices, the update process depends on your app store settings. If you have automatic app
updates enabled, the Traveller app will update in the background and will already be running Version
10
the next time you open it. If automatic updates are not enabled, simply open the App Store or Google
Play Store on the device where Traveller is installed, search for “ExplorOz Traveller”, and
tap Update. If the button shows Open, your app is already up to date.
The ExplorOz Traveller Web App has
also been updated to Version 10
and includes free access to
EOTopo 2026. No action is required for Web App users.

Membership required.

Updating your Offline Maps to EOTopo 2026
Once you've updated Traveller to version 10 and purchased the EOTopo 2026 licence (in-app or from the ExplorOz shop), you're then ready to download.
If you already have another edition of EOTopo maps installed on your device,
the Data Manager will offer an "Update" button, rather than a "download" button alongside the LoRes
& HiRes map packs.
- Open Data Manager
- Press Update on the LoRes Map Pack
- Press Update on the HiRes Map Pack
- No action required for Contours & Terrain Packs.
This "Update" function removes the old files and installs the new EOTopo 2026 files
in one pass.
While EOTopo 2026 is the latest edition of our maps, this updated version of the ExplorOz Traveller
app
continues to support the following EOTopo editions: 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026. This means you can
choose to keep using offline maps from these supported earlier editions, or update to the
new 2026 edition when ready.
