Description

Ground Orchid. Flowering stems to approx 20cm tall. Golden Cowslips is a terrestrial orchid in the Diuris (Donkey Orchid) genus. The flowers are produced in small clusters of up to four, and each individual flower is about 4 cm across. The flowers are golden yellow and usually have darker stripes on the labellum and dorsal sepal. The lateral sepals are narrow Flowering is in spring from September to November. The plant has three to six narrow grass like leaves that grow to about 20 cm long and less than 1 cm wide. . It is listed as vulnerable in Victoria and South Australia

Flowering start in October and ends in November.
