Description

Lambs Tails is exactly what the flower heads look like. Flower heads appear woolly and white due to a dense covering of hair giving a woolly appearance. Actual flowers are small and appear black/purple. Rounded shrub to 1.5m, growing in gravelly sand. Leaves about 3cm long, linear with a felted texture.

Flowering start in August.

Identification

The main flower colour is other. Small dark flowers surrounded by dense woolly hair.
