Acacia ligulata is widespread across most parts of arid and semi-arid Australia. A smallish rounded shrub about 1 to 3 meters high, leaves are slender about 1 cm wide and 10 cm long, leathery with a prominent central vein and ending in a sharp point. Masses of golden flower balls 1 cm in diameter when flowering.
