Description

Brilliant yellow flowers are a standout on this small tree to about 5meteres tall. Flowers occur when the tree bare - it is deciduous in the dry season (ie winter months). Smooth grey bark. The flowers are about 10cm across and have bright red stamens.

Flowering start in August and ends in October.

Identification

The main flower colour is yellow. Large yellow flowers on leafless tree in tropical dry forests.
