Description

Shrub to 50 cm high, stems rusty stellate-tomentose.

Leaves ovate to broad-elliptic, usually 1–2 cm long, 5–15 mm wide, margins ± crenate, often with a whitish border; upper surface ± glabrous; lower surface tomentose with ± rusty stellate hairs.

Flowers yellow, pedicellate in loose panicles. Sepals persistent in fruit. Petals absent.

Capsule and hypanthium with only short stellate hairs.

Flowering start in October and ends in November.

Identification

The main flower colour is red.
