Woody stemmed perennial with a crown of flat, narrow leaves. The trunk is usually over 1m tall, and flowering is stimulated by fire. This species is endemic to South Australia and is restricted to Kangaroo Island, Fleurieu and Yorke Peninsulas.
Flowering start in August and ends in October.
