AMBER ZONE 2
• The exclusion period for non-Defence users for the
Woomera Prohibited Area Defence Periodic Use Amber Zone 2 (which was to have been activated between 12 November – 9 December 2017 will be cancelled.
EXCLUSION PERIODS THAT REMAIN
The exclusion periods that remain for the 2017 - 18 financial year are:
Amber Zone – South-Eastern Corner (Defence Periodic Use Amber Zone 1)
• 29 October—9 December 2017
• 25 February—31 March 2018
• 13 May—30 June 2018
Amber Zone - Centre-line Corridor (Defence Periodic Use Amber Zone 2)
Includes a section of the
Anne Beadell Highway.
• 3 June - 30 June 2018

Persons who hold an existing access permission under the Defence Force Regulations 1952 should contact the

to discuss access to the Periodic Use Amber Zones 1 or 2 during the upcoming exclusion periods .
NOTIFICATIONS AND EXCLUSION PERIOD VARIATIONS
Defence will endeavour to give non-Defence users affected by exclusion periods as much notice as possible, including instances where Defence may exercise its right to cancel or amend a published exclusion period.
