Brilliant big flower heads make this hakea hard to miss; this one was growing by the roadside in sandy soil.Tall shrub to 3 or 4 m tall. Leaves flat, narrow and elongated.
Flowering start in July and ends in September.
Identification
The main flower colour is red. long flowering spikes of brilliant red flowers. Woody seed capsules distinguish it from Grevilleas.
